Fenstanton heralds the arrival of the Journal.

After fifty one years, Spectrum has finally retired, as have those volunteer stalwarts who have generously given their time over the decades.

Since 1972 a small team has quietly beavered away producing ten editions annually,  delivered free to every door in Fenstanton. Over the years, editors have changed and styles have varied but the parishioners have always been able to rely upon a regular copy to keep them updated regarding parish affairs.

The generosity continues where now a slightly larger team is now coordinating information from Fenstanton, Hilton and Fen Drayton, producing a combined edition covering all three parishes. As so much overlaps all three parish boundaries, both physically and notionally, it made a lot of sense to combine pre-existing community magazines into one. Sharing the common costs has provided better value for all.

Welcome to ‘The Journal‘ !

February edition of “Spectrum”

The Editorial Team have decided to temporarily suspend publication of Spectrum starting with the February 2021 edition.

Sadly because of the current Covid-19 situation, there is very little of note taking place in the village to report.

There will be an ongoing monthly review and publication will resume as soon as possible.
