Fenstanton Football Club have got themselves off to a great start this season. The First Team started the season, after being promoted from Division 2B, by opening their accounts in Division 1B with an impressive 5-2 win against Bottisham Sports. They also beat Eaton Socon Reserves 6-4 placing them at 5th place in their division. Most recently they managed to beat Ramsey Town Reserves 4-2 in the Hunts Junior Cup.

The Reserve Team, under new management of Dom Moody and Tom Tilbury, have managed to have an extremely good run of results in Division 5B giving them a 100% record in the league so far. This included wins against Dataracks Elite, Littleport Town A, March Rangers Reserves and Burwell Swifts Reserves . They also managed to secure a place in the next round of the Reg Haigh/Arthur Peck Cup by beating Coldham United an amazing 10-1! A record for the Reserve Team so far!

Fenstanton Football Club Under 7's

Training is going very well. We have 15 boys and girls coming regularly on Saturday mornings. Our first friendly match is being played on October 21st against Whittlesford Under 8's.

I would like to thank a number of people for their donations to help pay for footballs, bibs, cones etc, without which we could not operate. We have also been offered training tops, strips and goals. Thanks to Gary Heaford, Robert Dodds-Brown, The George, Terry's Heel Bar, Ash, Sue King, Paul Allgood and Barry's Plaice. Also Bridget Parr for all her hard work.

Anyone interested in coming along to play or help on a Saturday morning from 10.00 am to 11.30 am are very welcome.

For details or information please contact Charlie Darling on 01480 395338.
