Potholes & how Cambridgeshire County Council is tackling them.

Posted: 01/04/2010

How the County Council are tackling the potholes:

* Repair teams have been out and about around the County repairing the unprecedented level of damage caused to the roads by the worst winter for decades.

* In the Huntingdon area, workers used more than 100 tons of repair material in five weeks carrying out repairs through the District.

* The repair gangs have been responding to calls from the public, who have a vital role to play in reporting potholes and damage.

* Work is continuing throughout the District to carry out emergency repairs.
