Passed away peacefully on Thursday 15th December 2016, aged 89 years. Devoted Husband, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad and Brother-in-law.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Joan BARKER Formerly of Fenstanton, died peacefully in hospital aged 90 years on Saturday, 5th November 2016 with her family at her bedside.

Beloved mother of John and Karen, mother-in-law to Margaret and David, grandmother of Clare and great grandmother of Ethan. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend.

Joan’s funeral service will take place at The Vale Crematorium, Stopsley, Luton 2.30 p.m on Wednesday, 23rd November 2016.

Cyril BROOM passed away in Hinchingbrooke Hospital on Wednesday 21st September 2016, aged 89 years.

Husband of the late Pauline, beloved father of Robert, father-in-law to Linda and proud grandad and great grandad. Cyril will also be missed by his family and friends.

WALLACE Kenneth

Kenneth WALLACE Ex Headmaster of Fenstanton Primary School, died peacefully aged 86 at Field Lodge Care Home, St. Ives.

Ken who was born in Sunderland and was headmaster at the school for 18 years, retired to pursue his main passions in painting, bowls and model aircraft building for his son and grandson. Playing for the county bowls team as long as his health allowed and water colour painting until his long fight with Parkinsons’s finally prevented this too.

Ken married Mollie after the sad death of his wife Joyce and leaves a loving family of only son Andrew, two grandchildren Samantha and Benjamin and his great grandchildren Alex, Lauren, William, Lisa and Hayden Wallace. Mollie and the family would like to express their deep thanks to all the staff at Field Lodge who made his last year so comfortable.

Funeral service will take place at Cambridge Crematorium, East Chapel on Tuesday 16th February at 10.45am.
