Police Notice: Suspicious Behaviour, Fenstanton

Posted: 30/10/2014

Police have received a report of a man acting suspiciously around the area of the Hilton Road underpass in Fenstanton.

A lady was walking through the underpass with her small child. A male cycled slowly past them and carried on until out of sight. As the lady carried on her journey she found that the male was waiting out of sight about a hundred metres further on, as she passed him he then cycled off. The male appeared to deliberately cover his face by pulling his hood up.

This has happened on three occasions over the past three months, the most recent being late in the afternoon on Friday 24th October.

The male is described as being white, in his late twenties to early thirties and of average height and build. On each occasion he was wearing a grey beanie hat and was riding an orange cycle. On 24th October he was wearing a black hooded top. The male has not attempted to speak or communicate with the informant in any way.

If anyone has any information about this male please contact PS Andy Street, St. Ives police station via 101.
