Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 3rd to 8th April:

Church Leys, Fenstanton – Thieves broke into the garage of a house on Church Leys at some time overnight on Wednesday 7th / Thursday 8th April, and stole a Yamaha motor-cycle from inside. The bike is white with red and black markings. (Ref 35/20508/21)

Lost and Found:
A very honest member of the public came across a sum of money in St Ives this week and handed it in to the police, who would like to reunite it with its rightful owner. And Finally – Free Covid-19 Rapid Tests Now Available for Everyone in England Who Has No Symptoms:

The Department of Health and Social Care is encouraging everyone in England who has no symptoms to get into the habit of using free ‘rapid lateral flow’ tests twice a week, as part of the next steps towards the cautious easing of restrictions. The tests are available from today, Friday 9th April, and can be obtained from a variety of outlets or delivered by post to your home.
